
The Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking is a public-private partnership with three members: the European Union, represented by the European Commission, the Industry Grouping "Hydrogen Europe" and the Research Grouping "Hydrogen Europe Research" .
In legal terms, the Joint Undertaking is the legal entity, in which the partners come together to support R&D activities. Formally set up by a Council decision ( 108 KB), it is responsible for implementing the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Technology Initiative (FCH JTI), the political initiative proposing this public-private partnership in fuel cell and hydrogen technologies.
