Description
The second webinar of the TAHYA project will take place on Wednesday, 2 June, from 14:00 CEST. Participation is free upon registration. Please note that places are limited.
The webinar will focus on the different types of verification of structural health monitoring (SHM). SHM is a novel integrative solution approach that can make significant contribution to monitor the stress state and quality of hydrogen composite pressure vessels (CPV) in the automotive industry. The final aim is to ensure the safety properties of CPVs within the constraint of lightweight.
Programme
14.00 – Introduction (Mr. Seifert – Plastic Omnium / OCPV)
14.05 – Monitoring of type IV composite pressure vessels with multilayer fully integrated optical fibre based distributed strain sensing (Mr. Schukar – BAM)
14.30 – Adapted, metal wire based and fiber-oriented structural health monitoring sensor (Mr. Naumann – TUC)
14.55 – Non-destructive testing of composite pressure vessels using conventional & high frequency eddy current technique (Mr. Casperson – BAM)
15.20 – Modal analysis over the lifetime of type 3 composite pressure vessels (Mr. John – BAM)
15.45 – Lifetime monitoring of Type 4 composite pressure vessels with acoustic emission testing (Mr. Duffner – BAM)
16.10 – Questions & Answers sessions (moderated by Mr. Strola – ABSISKEY)
