New partnership. New branding
With the publication of the Council Regulation (EU) 2021/2085 in the Official Journal, the Clean Hydrogen Partnership (legal name: Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking) is the universal successor of the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking (FCH 2 JU) and has taken over its legacy portfolio.
To ensure a smooth transition to its new name and keep connected with its extended audience, the Clean Hydrogen Partnership underwent a rebranding process. The results of the rebranding were a new logo, corporate visual identity and website.
Clean Hydrogen Partnership logo
Our newly created Clean Hydrogen Partnership logo was designed reflecting the principles of sustainability and circularity.
The different points of the spiral create a dynamic evoking movement, energy and collaboration between the components of the partnership.
The colour green in associated with nature, whereas blue and yellow correspond to the colours of the European flag, underlining the European nature of the institution.
Communicating about the Clean Hydrogen Partnership Projects
As a beneficiary of support by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, one of your legal obligations is to acknowledge the funding and display both the Clean Hydrogen Partnership logo and the EU emblem in all your communication material, equipment, vehicles and infrastructure.
Communication plays a key role in making the public aware of the added value brought by combining private funds with European support to deliver high quality projects.
We feel that this should not be a burden to you as a beneficiary, but rather something which you have planned beforehand in your strategic Communication Plans and are ready to execute at every step of your project's implementation.
Toolkit for projects
If you are creating a communication deliverable (press release, banner, report, website) for a project funded by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, you should make sure that it complies to our visual identity guidelines.
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership logo can be downloaded in all its variations.
The zip file contains 4 versions of the logo (colour, negative, black and grayscale).
In addition, the EU emblem with the text “co-funded by the European Union” must always be displayed in conjunction with the Clean Hydrogen Partnership logo. You can download the ready-made acknowledgment of EU funding in a number of linguistic versions in horizontal and vertical formats here.
Press material
The visual identity gives the Clean Hydrogen Partnership a recognisable and coherent image. This visual identity manual contains terms and conditions for the use of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership logo and establishes the basic principles to be applied to the entire range of communication products.
The About Us section provides an essential source of information for all who want to know more about organisation. It should be used in conjunction with the the Clean Hydrogen Partnership branding.
"The Clean Hydrogen Partnership is supporting research and innovation (R&I) activities in hydrogen technologies in Europe. It aims to accelerate the development of advanced clean hydrogen applications ready for market, across end-use sectors such as energy, transport, building and industry, while strengthening the competitiveness of the clean hydrogen value chain. The members of the partnership are the European Commission, fuel cell and hydrogen industries represented by Hydrogen Europe and the research community represented by Hydrogen Europe Research."
Please note that inappropriate or unauthorised use of logos can lead to legal consequences.
