H2-Stations is a central access point for reliable, harmonised and up-to-date data on hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) across Europe.
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership supports the deployment of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure across Europe by promoting access to consistent and trustworthy data. For hydrogen mobility to succeed, users, operators and public authorities need clear information on where hydrogen refuelling stations are located, whether they are available, and how they operate. H2-Stations responds to this need by providing a European platform that makes HRS information easier to access, use and share.
By bringing together data from across Europe in a single, harmonised framework, the platform supports a wide range of stakeholders, including HRS operators, HRS users, public authorities, data users and the wider hydrogen community.
What does H2-Stations offer?
H2-Stations provides free and open access to both static and dynamic hydrogen refuelling station data at a European level. The platform brings together several complementary tools and services designed to meet different user needs, including:
- A European HRS availability map, offering up-to-date and real time information on station location and availability status visually, for drivers or interested individuals.
- A portal with dedicated dashboards for operators, national bodies and signal originators supporting the provision and monitoring of HRS data.
- Supporting documentation and guidance, helping users navigate the platform and ensuring consistent data.
By harmonising how HRS data is collected and shared, H2-Stations clarifies key information, supports better planning and analysis, and builds confidence in hydrogen refuelling infrastructure across Europe.
Supporting AFIR reporting requirements
H2-Stations also supports HRS operators and national bodies in meeting their obligations under European legislation by facilitating data provision aligned with the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR). The platform is designed as a practical and evolving tool for reporting and monitoring at EU level, and user feedback is actively encouraged to further improve this functionality.
