Description
After publishing the H₂ Roadmap for Wallonia in 2018, TWEED very recently created a club within the Cluster dedicated to hydrogen, the H2Hub Wallonia. Driven by the Green Deal, the Region of Wallonia will invest €105 million in the recovery plan, with a part dedicated to innovation projects which will supplement the €8 million already invested over the past 3 years in research. The Hub positions itself as a partner of other Belgian initiatives (Waterstofnet, Fluxys, Flux50 etc.) in order to offer a global Belgian vision on H₂ initiatives.
As part of H2Hub Wallonia, the TWEED Cluster will organise a webinar dedicated to innovation and hydrogen, focusing also on options to boost regional research initiatives. An overview of the next European initiatives will be presented by the Director of FCHJU (Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking), and InnoEnergy, at the base of the creation of the new EU Green H2 Accelerator. Several Walloon hydrogen projects will also be introduced during this session via a presentation delivered by Cenaero.
