Next week we will organise the European Hydrogen Week, building further on our traditional yearly Stakeholder Forum and Program Review Days.
European Commission ambition on hydrogen is extremely high, as a key priority to achieve the European Green Deal and Europe’s clean energy transition. New initiatives as Clean Hydrogen Alliance and its European Hydrogen Forum are asking that all actors, public and private, at European, national and regional level, must work together, across the entire value chain, to build a dynamic hydrogen ecosystem in Europe.
All these will be for the first time reflected during the first European Hydrogen Week (23-27 November 2020). If you are not yet registered, please do so now to join us in this endeavor and hear the latest news and announcements.
The response for the event is overwhelming thanks to the many high level speakers. The Hydrogen Week will benefit from intervention of Ministers from EU and outside Europe, five EU Commissioners, five Director Generals, many leading figures of the EU industry and top researchers will speak and debate the best way to implement the European Hydrogen strategy.
In addition, following the past years tradition, we will give awards to projects with the Best Innovation, the Best Success Story and the Best Outreach.
In the fact of the month below, we talk also about recently released 2019 Program Review Report. The report shows how the hydrogen technologies have progressed against the technical KPI’s as established by the FCH-JU program. This review is performed independently by our colleagues from the JRC and is a very important work to identify the strengths but also potential improvements, which can serve as an input to future strategic programming.
