Survey on hydrogen quality in industrial applications

We invite stakeholders from the industry to participate to the CEN-CLC JTF H2qInd - Survey on hydrogen quality in industrial applications.  The deadline has been extended. Have you say by 28 February 2023!

CEN-CENELEC is the European standardization body and responsible for European standards on hydrogen. Technical committees are working on technical hydrogen standards in full support of the EU Commissions energy strategies. 

The survey especially asks for information on:

- the impacts of trace components/impurities and other quality parameters on the industrial processes and equipment where hydrogen is used

- information on technical mitigation measures at the industrial sites in order to enable the use of the hydrogen from repurposed natural gas grids

The contributions to this questionnaire will determine the future quality specifications for hydrogen and the actual suitability for the processes and equipment for industrial applications.
